 Supervising fixed assets accounting & Tracking the value and changes in a company's fixed assets. Analyze and ensure correct calculations and recordings of the additions, depreciation, disposals of Assets
 Monthly deep diving into financial figures for timely whistle blow against piling of accounting issues and aged receivable / payables / accruals etc
 Identifying areas of improvement within FINCON and implement stringent KPI monitoring

Position KPI

 Counting advisory to User Departments, Sourcing and Business planning teams on accounting treatments
 Capex / Opex bifurcation and provisioning of GL codes on all PR’s
 Supervise all month end activities of the team thereby contributing towards the achievement of overall departmental objective of D+2 of closing books of accounts within 2 working days after month end
 Monthly reviews of all balance sheet accounts for any discrepancies including identification of issues and follow-up with respective teams for timely closure
 Identify, develop, implement and monitor controls for reasonable assurance over areas of FINCON including receivables, payables, fixed assets, accruals etc
 Ensure all identified issues in reviews are closed before next MEC (Month end closing) thorough follow-up and meetings with TSS and FINCON teams
 Responsible for recording of all transactions through asset’s life cycle including acquisitions, transfers, capitalization of CWIP assets, adjustments, retirements and depreciation
 Ensuring compliance with the internal control requirements of SOA auditor’s relating to Fixed Assets
 Liaison within the department to ensure complete and accurate transfer of flow of information for the purpose of recording in fixed assets
 Monitoring customization of multiple reports of Oracle in coordination with the ERP functional support team together with reviewing, reassessing & and recommending any possible improvement in business processes involving fixed assets
 Responding to various external stakeholders including statutory, control and internal auditors and internal business units
 Working closely with Business Planning department for key strategic projects representing Finance in decision making process
 Creative and innovative in structuring and analyzing large sets of data with ability to arrive on judgment.
 Ability to work under stressful situations with tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations at the last moment.
 Ensure that accounting systems, processes and reports comply with international accounting and internal control framework
 Ensure compliance with SLAs with end customers
 Ensure all targets and KPIs are met to secure the set goals
 Responsible for high motivation and competency/skill level of staff
 Responsible for developing the culture within the team aligned with company’s culture
